Nitty-Gritty

  • December, Here we COME!
    • As you are planning for your December classroom, please remember to start your day with reminders of the expectations and reteach as necessary.  When students are off of school for even a couple of days, it is easy for them to slip out of their routines and habits that they follow during the school weeks.  By spending a few minutes at the beginning of the day/lesson, it will pay dividends with your instructional minutes throughout the week!
  • Transition Plans
    • While I am working on getting a new Elementary Administrative Assistant, Ella will be covering the office (because she has been covering the office daily for Trisha's lunch period for the past 1.5 years and knows how to do the attendance, phones, assessing fees, etc) and hopefully a sub will be found for her position in EC/4K.  The goal is to have someone in place by Dec 9 or Dec 16.
  • Time is FLYING BY!
    • It is going to feel like time is flying! Please remember that we have only 3 short weeks before our next break.  Then we will have only 2.5 months before it will be time for the state testing already.  Every minute that we get to have with our students is precious.  Help your students understand the how important it is to be at school each day and ready to learn.

Tuesday Funny

(It doesn't have the same ring though does it???  BUT, I'm pretty excited to have the house to myself tonight and so that makes it a GREAT DAY!!)
